Descant magazine will be featuring five of my poems in their winter Issue 159 themed “A Winter’s Guide to Melancholia” (guest edited by Rebecca Payne and Scott McIntyre). The launch for this issue is on January 23rd 2012 and I am pleased to be reading at it.

Grain magazine published the first poem I ever submitted to a literary journal and this poem won the Short Grain Contest in the prose poem category. In volume 35 No 2, Fall 2007, “Prelude to” appears alongside some other great poems and Short Grain winners. Click here for a review of this issue.
